Starts in my toes...

Please note the Pintrest post was suppose to post yesterday...oops. Now for today's link up I saw "What's your Song?" So head over to Goodnight Moon and link up!

Today I'm needing some bubbly. It's been a really rough month between long distance lovin' and graduate school cracking down. This song always makes me want to sing and dance and it's definitely in the top tier for our wedding dance. I can actually play it on the guitar but obviously haven't had the time to practice.

So as I get ready to spend the weekend in the car for 16 hours, and at the beach I leave you with some Colibe Caillat.

Oh how Pintresting!

This made my morning. Well and also the fact that a presentation I had to do Tuesday now will be done on the 22nd of November (when I was not planning to be here at all).  But this link up actually made my day, so go link up!

google

Where to begin? I'll do something from each board I have...

Sparklers for a sparkly day.

Yum! Chicken, bacon, ranch pizza!

This is a really awesome idea, have a heart on the underside of your ring and once you've worn it enough the heart will be there forever, even if the ring is not.

There are so many crafts I'd like to do, this one with a fabric marker and lyrics is at the top of my list to try!

Thanks for stopping by =)

Target Tuesday!

Oh hey! The holidays are right around the corner so I thought I would take an opportunity to share with the world just what I'm loving from Target. Go link up with Tara at Fabulous but Evil!
Crock Pot! With the cold season coming in, and Pintrest loaded with yummy recipes, this is at the top of my wish list.

Sweater Dresses! I like this one in particular from Target, but honestly all of them are cute. Dresses are so nice for work because I only have to put one thing on! I also don't have too much purple =)

I stopped and stared at this skirt for a while this weekend. It didn't make it home with me, but I do like it alot alot.

Gray is the next color of boot I shall be purchasing, and both of these look lovely!

And last but certainly not least, I have been admiring from a distance the thicker leggings for winter, and while I am sure the Nike ones are great perhaps the target ones will work just as well!

Happy Targeting! Go link up here!

Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday

1. The cute picture that is suppose to go with this, won't work. Grr

2. There are a ton of people who are getting engaged after me, but who will get married before me. Darn you graduate school

3. I'm tired of meetings and papers and more meetings. I still have to pinch myself and realize that I elected to come back to school for two more years. I suppose this sounds the same as number 2.

4. I made the most awesome craft yesterday but I can't share until after next weekend because it's for the fiance.

5. I can't remember the last time I carved a pumpkin. This weekend we carved a Mickey Mouse and it looks fabulous!

6. Running in the cold this morning was a bit harder than I remembered. Still managed to get my 4 miles in, in 40 minutes. Wish I didn't hate running on a treadmill so much!

7. This weekend Bran and I found a book all about this dog! His name is Boo, isn't he just adorable.

8.  I've been rocking this awesome Fossil watch that my aunt got me a few weekends ago as a graduation gift. It makes class time go by quicker I swear ;)

Happy Monday!

It's A Love Story

Today the fiance and I are celebrating our 4 year anniversary. We realized that we will only celebrate us on this day one more time and then we will begin celebrating our wedding anniversary. I realize that I haven't told the story so I figured I'd take a minute while he is at school to fill everyone in.

We had been given a trip to Disney World as a graduation gift and headed down to Florida for some sunshine, disney characters, and relaxation. Little did I know that he had much more planned. We checked into our Disney All-Star sports hotel by 8am and I was sooo excited to get into the park. When we got to the park and scanned our passes I knew I wanted to ride the Carousel first (yes, I'm a child!). Bran kept saying let's take a picture, so finally after passing two of those professional photographers we stopped for a quick picture. Here is the first picture:

 (yes note the fanny pack)

Then I was ready to go. My face says, why are we still standing here.
Then he got down on one knee, and asked me to be his forever.

Bran had more than one surprise up his sleeve, he then pulled out M&Ms that said "Will you marry me?" written on them!
He has never been able to keep a secret, but I was completely blown away with surprise and shock. He had been hiding the ring in his shoe on the trip down, and had purchased it months before the trip. Of course I said yes!
So Happy 4th Anniversary to My Real Life Prince Charming. May there be many more magical moments. I hope you have a day full of pixie dust and happily ever afters.

If My Yoga Pants Could Talk

They'd remind you how much they hate being wet at the bottom, AKA why I have so many pairs of rain boots.

They'd thank me because they are the last thing I pack, and the first thing I take out.

They could tell you about the time I was running on the trails and a bicycle came up behind me and I almost sprayed the poor kid with mace.

They would tell you that I wore them as "dress pants" yesterday. ( I don't think anyone even noticed)

I'd ask them to tell me why I can't find another pair just like them, perhaps if I had more I'd wash this pair more often.

If my yoga pants had ears, I'd thank them for all the rainy days, long runs, and hot yoga classes they have gotten me through.

Nobody said it was easy

Yesterday was rough. I'm doing a long distance relationship for the first time, and I got to see him yesterday for approximately 10 hours. It was just long enough to feel like I'd see him for a few days and then it was time to go. I try really hard not to complain because when I'm being logical and practical (which I like to think is most of the time) I know it could be much much worse.

It's still not any fun. It was a rough week, so I thought I'd come back on here and see if I couldn't get myself in the spirit of posting more frequently than not. I've been asked for a wish list so I'm going to try and get that up in the next few days.

Fun fact about The Scientist lyrics by Coldplay, they happened to be stuck in my head. They also were my high school graduating song. Perhaps they are more appropriate for graduation.

"No body said it was easy. It's such a shame for us to part. No body said it was easy, no one ever said it would be this hard. Oh, take me back to the start."
